We are Four Corners Comedy Club
Four Corners Comedy Club was founded in 2019 with a simple goal: to create more opportunities for comedians to get on stage and develop their craft. At the time, there were very few spaces in Limerick where new performers could try stand-up, often forcing comedians to travel to other cities just to get a few minutes in front of an audience.
Built from that need, Four Corners Comedy Club has grown into a regular and much-loved part of the local comedy scene. The idea is simple but powerful: bring comedy to different corners of the city, making live stand-up more accessible for both performers and audiences.
Today, the club hosts weekly shows across multiple venues including Katie Daly’s, Sexton’s, The Old Quarter, and Fordes Courtyard, creating a lively and ever-changing comedy circuit throughout Limerick.
From curated Comedy Nights with experienced performers and headliners, to Open Mic events where new voices can step into the spotlight, Four Corners Comedy Club continues to support and showcase a wide range of talent. The club also explores different formats such as roast battles, competitions, and themed shows, keeping every night fresh, exciting, and full of energy.

Hello, I’m John…
I started Four Corners Comedy Club back in 2019. At the time, there weren’t many places in Limerick where new comedians could get up and give it a go, so I thought… why not create one?
What started as a way to practice stand-up quickly turned into something much bigger. Now, Four Corners Comedy Club runs regular shows across the city, giving both new and experienced comedians a place to perform, experiment, and (hopefully) make people laugh.
